17. Monitoring and Measurement Policy

17.1.1. Purpose

The purpose of this provision is to ensure that the Company maintains documented procedures on a regular basis, for monitoring and measuring the key characteristics of its operations and activities that can have a significant impact on safety, quality and the environment.

17.1.2. Scope

This provision shall apply to evaluate the performance of all activities related to Safety, Quality and Environment that are monitored within the SQEMS.

17.1.3. Responsibility

It is recognised that the overall responsibility for administration and safe operation of each vessel rests with the Company. It is further acknowledged that a key factor for a successful and efficient SQEMS is commitment, involvement and full participation by the Senior Management.
